New Product Development

ETS teaming approach ensures that projects move from prototype to production smoothly and on time, and that the customer’s “time-to-production” and “time-to- volume” schedules are met.

In developing new products, ETS focuses on program management, quick-turn prototypes, supply chain management strategy, design (DFx) reports prior and post- build, advanced manufacturing process design and flow, and service transition management.

Testing Capabilities

ETS has extensive “in-house” testing capabilities that ensure reliable products are shipped to customers. Complete electrical, mechanical, and ballistic (when required) tests are conducted before a product leaves the dock.

ETS has full environmental testing capabilities to include testing in accordance with Mil-Std-810.

ETS has onsite capabilities for chemical testing and evaluation and x-ray examination that greatly reduce test and evaluation costs while assuring full compliance to customer requirements.

ETS test engineers work to integrate an existing customer test network into the manufacturing. processes and provide full test support services for product test developments.

Quality of product delivered by ETS is dictated through optimization of process design and inspection reliability.

Machine Design

The ETS team is comprised of area experts that create specialized tooling to fit any loading application.

All machinery is ruggedized and is designed for flexibility, making it adaptable for use across different product lines.

In-house machining allows ETS to control scheduling as more than 80% of all equipment is fabricated in house.

Explosive Loading

ETS’ priority regarding the loading of energetic material is driven by the Company’s stringent internal safety requirements.

ETS has designed a semi-automatic explosive loading machine for the simulator program that shields the operator from the explosive loading operation with a 1” thick steel plate.

The entire loading mechanism is built in a separate isolated room adjacent to the operator. This room has been fabricated in a manner that allows overpressure to be released through the ceiling and wall, away from all operators.

The room containing the explosive powders has an integrated locking system that prevents personnel from entering the explosive area while the machine is in use.
